Hi,

I suspect a memory leak in WF7C v4.1.14.

The memory size of the running process Windows7FirewallControl.exe is growing with the time (as shown on the task manager screenshot below).

It seems to be related to the blocked events panel, after a few days of use, it contains a lots of blocked events and is very slow to refresh.

My system is Windows 7 SP1 64bits.

The problem is known. The leak occurs in uPnP system related infrastructure mapped into W7FC process. We are trying to find a solution at the moment.
Please stay tuned.

4.1.16 is now blocking a lot of stuff and there was a "blank" entry, which I don't know what it does:

I removed it and it's the same. I still get those "Detection Outgoing" Blocked Events. 4.1.16 is portable in a "clean" folder without old settings.

EDIT: I'm unable to access PCs on the LAN. (I could with 4.1.14.)

Terribly sorry for the inconvenience. The bug has been fixed. Please try 4.1.17
Do not forget to delete the application with empty name (if any) from the Programs list

I'm happily using V.4.1.17 plus (on win7 + XP) and tried to find reasoning of testing the 5.0 beta (later payed upgrade). Can't find a good reason to do so except sponsering your good work! Maybe because i couldn't find in the online manual a description what the cloud functionality offers me. Is this already available?

The main features are network and remote management related.
The manual is included in the setup only (at the moment)
We are PMing you the new manual separately.
