THe way programs are allowed with the firewall.

THe way programs are allowed with the firewall.

When a new program is started the firewall popups and ask you if you want to allow it to access internet or not. You allow it but the software is blocked for that time. This is anoying and some software (installing software like flash player, messenger installer, direct x web version etc) ask for a new rule even if you allow them the first time because the setup closes when it cant be conected to internet and you need to start it again. The only was to install those kind of programs is to select enable all, install it and than go to normal mode.

Can you change this way of interacting with software. For example to make it like avira firewall etc. When you use avira firewall and try to install a web version software the installation pauses until you allow it and it does not closes like on firewall control does.

Mode:EnableAll is the solution for Free version only.
Plus version offers a more secure way to penetrate though mutable co-installers/co-updaters specifics (please read the F.A.Q. for the details)

The “waiting for the user permissive decision” feature can be implemented by the kernel driver only. Presence of the driver will kill all the main W7FC benefits: unbeatable stability and 100% compatibility with all the other (including security related) applications

Admin, when i said enable all i meaned to right click on the firewall icon on the taskbar and select enable all for the entire network, installing the web based application and than go again on Mode: Normal.

Mode:EnableAll is actually TrayIcon/RightClick/Mode:EnableAll.
The Plus version allows solving the problem better.
