Portable/32bit vs. 64 bit (x64) version

Portable/32bit vs. 64 bit (x64) version

I'm currently using the portable version, because that's how I prefer most software.
But is there any advantage in using the x64 (installed) version?

Will there be a portable x64 version available?

We could compile x64 “portable” version for you personally probably, however the version would work on 64-bit PCs only, so it’s not portable in full.
32-bit version is operable on 64-bit architecture though.

The main preference of the desktop (installed) version is the ability to protect the system starting from the boot process, before logon. The portable version protects after it is launched only.

This might be enough of a reason for me to install it, then.

What about 32 vs 64 bit, do they perform somehow differently?

The 64 bit version operates a bit faster on 64-bit systems as the binary native to the system capacity.
However the 64-bit version takes a bit more memory as any native 64-bit applications comparably to the correspondent 32-bit incarnation.
All the other functionality is identical.
All in all the 64bit version is more native to 64bit systems.
