Negative Symbols

Negative Symbols

Postby Jazzy2 » Tue Oct 05, 2010 2:09 am

Hello;
I have a HP's Pavillion Vista Home Premium Computer and have installed Norton 360 for the second year. My problem is not knowing what to do with the programs that I see in the Vista Firewall that have red negative symbols going through them. What does those symbols mean and how to I get rid of them. They number many in the same thing ex: 1,2,3 in consecutive manner for the same thing. What will happen if I delete them. :?:

W7FC uses a special red icon to designate the listed application is (temporary) not found on the stored path. Is it what you have mentioned?
If you do not need to control network traffic of an application you can delete the application from the list. If the application starts network activity again it will be re-detected and re-listed.

(1),(2) etc suffixes in the applications names? The suffixes designate the application already listed by W7FC is found again on different path.

As above.
