Dear sir,
When I have an old version of Windows 7 Firewall Control installed and I want to install the new version of Windows 7 Firewall Control, can I install the new version over the old version, without removing the old version of Windows Firewall Control? If yes, will my settings (like programs blocked or allowed) remain? Thank in advance.

Dear Mike,

We recommend installing the new versions “over” the old ones always (*). The installation “over” (without removing the previous versions) is exactly intended to keep all the previous settings (**)

(*) The installation directory should be the same/default.
(**) Installation Free version over Plus one and vice versa removes all program and zone settings allowing all the application redetection, what is necessary due to the version significant difference.
